Welcome to the Torah 2 Go audio library, where you borrow an MP3 player (and more)  pre-loaded with the tracks of your choice!

For this reason, use of this project is only open to people living in and around Johannesburg, South Africa.

N.B. You may order a maximum of 1 gigabyte of audio (approximately 20 hours).

N.B. All orders will be available for pickup from either Chabad Bookshop in Village Walk or Kollel Bookshop in Norwood, usually from the Sunday morning following your order and onward.  You will be notified via sms. 

Here’s how the audio project works:

A large collection of audio (forty thousand items so far) has been catalogued by author, content, category etc. and loaded on a hard drive. It spans a broad range, from daf yomi to children’s stories, with 1000’s of educational, informative, inspiring and entertaining lectures in between.

The collection is available to you on this site in catalogue form. Select from the menus if you if you know the title, or do a search (by author or subject) if you don’t. Once you have what you want, put it in your shopping cart. Your shopping cart will hold 1GB (approx 20 hours), and will keep a tally of how much you’ve selected.

After you’re done shopping, proceed to checkout. You will receive an e-mail confirming your selections and advising you when your loaded loan mp3 player is available for collection.

Order online, collect and enjoy! At home, on the treadmill, or in the car – every order comes with a FM Modulator (transmitter) for the car so you can play audio through your car’s speakers.

The project is designed to cater to the entire community through Hamaor centre which serves as a bridge between communties. Communities such as Ohr Somayach have been contacted and have contributed part of their audio libraries to Torah 2 Go so that their shiurim should be available on the system.
